Required use discipline
Before deriving a HEART Verifiable Condition, record the exact provision, responsible legal actor, applicability reasoning, operative date, source-defined outcome, expected evidence, implementation owner, unresolved interpretation, official guidance relied upon, and legal-review status.
A HEART determination cannot convert a crosswalk into EU conformity, replace a required conformity-assessment procedure, or increase or reduce the source’s force.
Claim ceiling
The Profile is current for source navigation and HEART control planning. It is not:
- legal advice or exhaustive legal analysis;
- proof that a system is or is not high-risk;
- a declaration of conformity, certificate, registration, or CE marking;
- a presumption of conformity;
- approval by an EU institution, Member State authority, or notified body; or
- proof that HEART, HVC, TII, or a Guardian satisfies the Regulation.
The Profile must be reviewed when the source or controlling interpretation changes and no later than its current review date, 16 November 2026.
