HEART Registry

The HEART Registry maintains current status and historical lineage for authorized HEART records. It is event-based, privacy-bounded, correctable, and distinct from the credential or professional standard whose status it resolves.

Record classes

The Registry can maintain bounded records for HVCs, Guardians, authorized bodies, roles, issuers, signing keys, Profiles, and other authority objects defined by current governance.

Each record preserves identity, authority, scope, status, effective time, source decision, reasons appropriate for public release, lineage, correction, appeal, and supersession information.

Current-status vocabulary

Status is explicit and time-sensitive. HVC states include ACTIVE, QUALIFIED, REMEDIATION, SUSPENDED, SCOPE REDUCED, SUPERSEDED, WITHDRAWN, REVOKED, EXPIRED, and ARCHIVED where applicable.

A cached, signed, or historically valid credential is not necessarily current. Reliance must resolve status for the relevant time and scope.

Privacy and reasons

Public status does not require publication of protected evidence, personal data, confidential information, security details, or privileged material. Public reasons must be sufficient to understand status without exposing protected reasons or records.

Legacy records do not migrate automatically

Legacy Guardian and certification registries remain historical. Example listings, tiers, oaths, manually asserted status, and system entries are not active facts under Registry v1.0.

Production gate

The Registry specification is current, but a production Registry must separately demonstrate governance, schema correctness, signing and key controls, privacy and abuse review, correction/appeal behavior, availability, stale-cache handling, recovery, and HVC interoperability. This site does not represent a production Registry as live until that gate is satisfied.
